In Valnerina you have the opportunity to restore your body and spirit, a stone’s throw from the most beautiful towns of Umbria and away from the hustle and bustle of big metropolitan cities. During the wintertime you can discover the mysterious snow-capped peaks of the Parco Nazionale dei Monti Sibillini getting familiar with the flavors of our valley: the black truffle aroma, savory meats from Norcia, Castelluccio and Monteleone di Spoleto legumes. In the springtime we suggest to travel between our small towns, the narrow valleys and plateaus flower you can find a refreshing rest in the shade of an oak tree. Summer is the right time for a hike in the mountains or merrily kayaking down the river shady gorges or relax by practicing no-kill fishing in some parts of the Nera River (our countryhouse is located in one of such areas). Autumn in Valnerina is never gray, but it will surprise you to discover all the colors in the valley such as the red of the maple tree and the purple of the saffron celebrated in October in an Exhibition in the town of Cascia.
